GAP - Good Agricultural Practices (good technical practice in agriculture) calls for responsible agriculture that is also adapted to regional conditions.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), GAP Agriculture defines modern standards to ensure the environmental, economic and social sustainability of agricultural production and downstream processes, which in turn leads to safe and healthy agricultural products. The overriding criteria are:
